The Twits (2025) is a Netflix animated musical comedy directed by Phil Johnston, based on Roald Dahl’s 1980 children’s novel. The film follows the mischievous Twits, who run a grotesque amusement park, Twitlandia, powered by magical monkey tears. When the park is shut down, they wreak havoc on the town of Triperot.
Two orphans, Beesha and Bubsy, team up with a family of magical creatures to thwart the Twits’ plans. The voice cast includes Margo Martindale, Johnny Vegas, Natalie Portman, Emilia Clarke, and Maitreyi Ramakrishnan. Released on October 17, 2025, the film features original songs by David Byrne.
